THE PERIWINKLE DETAILS:
The Periwinkle via Camden Harbor Cruises is a 40-foot lobster boat docked at The Public Landing, Camden, ME, 04843. Look for the Camden Harbor Cruises ticket table on the boardwalk near the Harbor Master’s office under the RED umbrella.
The Periwinkle will depart at 4 PM SHARP. Please arrive 30 minutes early to board the boat (we cannot hold the boat past our departure time!). You will arrive at Turner Farm around 5 PM and return to the mainland around 9 PM. Upon arrival, there is a 5-minute, uphill walk to the barn.

Paid parking is available at The Public Landing for $2.00 per hour. Free parking is available behind the fire station on Washington Street (a short walk down to the public landing) and near the library. Please pay attention to the signage.
More Parking info:
There is 3-hour parking at the Camden Public Landing at $2.00 per hour. There are signs and a pay kiosk. You may get a ticket if you park longer than 3 hours.
There is 2-hour parking on the surrounding streets. You may get a ticket if you park longer than that. There are free longer-term parking areas a short walk away.

The Knox Mill Building, behind 40 Paper. Atlantic Avenue just past the Camden Public Library, on the left. Please keep in mind this is a one-way street.
No animals, please.
Smoking and consumption of intoxicants while aboard the boat is strictly prohibited. Passengers in violation will be asked to disembark at the nearest port.
DEPARTURE FROM CAMDEN:
The Periwinkle departs the marina at 4pm SHARP. Please arrive well ahead of time to find parking and the boat.
REQUIRED FITNESS LEVEL:
To access the boat, passengers must be able to walk from the parking lot, down the boat ramp, across the dock (can be slightly wobbly/unstable), and descend into the boat via two steep steps. Upon arrival in North Haven, you will disembark in a similar fashion and walk 3-5 minutes up a short, steep hill to the barn. Please let us know if you anticipate needing assistance.
WEATHER PREPAREDNESS:
The crossing is approximately 50 minutes, and seas can be rolly, requiring both balance and a degree of heartiness. On a nice evening it may be warm, even in the shade. If it is windy or raining, some inside seating is available, however, passengers are expected to come prepared with appropriate weather gear.
