Arriving by Private vessel

We are located between the Cubbyhole and Armstrong's Cove on the North Haven side of the Fox Islands Thorofare.
We have a private wharf available for our visitors coming by sea. The walk from the wharf up to the Turner Farm Barn is about 1000 feet.

Arriving by Car on the island

If you have a vehicle on the island and are arriving by car, there is plenty of parking available near our event barn and farm store. Turner Farm is located at the end of Turner Farm Road, off of South Shore Road.

Arrving by Maine State Ferry service

The Maine State Ferry service runs between North Haven and Rockland 3 times a day, 7 days a week. The phone number for the ferry is 207-596-5400 option 3

Rockland details:
The ferry is first come first served when leaving from Rockland. Use the blue line for line-up.
It is important to arrive early, 45 mins or more to be in line for the ferry.
How early you need to arrive depends on the season and day you are traveling.
The ferry can hold up to 16 regular cars per trip.

North Haven Details:
Departing from North Haven without a reservation requires that you call the North Haven ferry terminal at 11am the day PRIOR to departure. They will give you a line number. More details available here.

If you are coming to North Haven for just 1 day. You will arrive on the island about 10:30 and will have to be back at the ferry terminal around 3:15 to travel back for the day. This gives you approximately 4 1⁄2 hours to visit the farm and island.

Reservations:
You can make a reservation for $12 each way. This is in addition to the regular fare. Use the green line for line-up.
Only 4 reservations are available per trip. Reservations can be booked 30 days in advance.
To book a reservation you can call the ferry office or go in person. Reservations book quickly and often sell out, please plan ahead.

Parking is available at the ferry terminal in Rockland.
